Barbara Ann Middleton

Barbara Ann Middleton, age 79 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, November 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Matilda Pedrick Allegar.

A graduate of Frenchtown High School, Barbara was a Telephone Switchboard Operator with the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, NJ, and later was a Medical Transcriber with Hagedorn Center for Geriatrics, Glen Gardner, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, having formerly resided in Kingwood Township.

Barbara was predeceased by her brothers, Leaver and Walter Allegar. Surviving are her husband of thirty-five years, Michael D. Middleton; two sisters, Henrietta Purshinski of Frenchtown, NJ, and Ruth Allegar of Phillipsburg, NJ; her brother, William Allegar, of Penndel, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
