Barbara Clawson Pershyn, age 64 years, of Big Pine Key, FL, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, in Lower Keys Hospital, Key West, FL.
Born in Trenton, NJ, January 23, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marion Hunt Clawson.
She had formerly resided in Ringoes, NJ, Frenchtown, NJ, and Milford, NJ.
She was formerly employed by the Hunterdon County Office on Aging, Flemington, NJ for twenty years.
A 1960 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, she was a member of Big Pine Key Moose Lodge; the Ladies Auxiliary of the Frenchtown American Legion Post #113, and she enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are her husband, William Pershyn; two sons, John Pershyn of Milford, NJ, and Michael Pershyn of Elizabeth, NJ; three sisters, Virginia Perkovich and Sally Perkovich, both of Ringoes, NJ, and Linda Fisher of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Richard Clawson of Ewing, NJ; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in Our Lady of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
