Barbara Jean Knaub

Barbara Jean Knaub, age 67 years, of Pittstown, NJ, died January 31, 2020, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Scranton, PA, November 26, 1952, daughter of the late Harry Fredrick and Barbara Jean Eggert Knaub, she was a life-long Hunterdon county resident.

Barbara worked twenty-eight years for the Hunterdon Developmental Center as a patient aide and shift supervisor. An avid member of the Quakertown United Methodist Church, Barbara taught Sunday school, vacation bible school and oversaw the church’s food pantry. In her later years she enjoyed crafting and making cards at the Country Arch Care Center. An avid Bon Jovi fan, Barbara will forever be remembered as a never-ending giving person and loved to help everyone.

She is pre-deceased by her brother, Barry Lee Knaub in 1999.

Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Walter Kaczetow of Belvidere, NJ; one brother and sister-in-law, Douglas Knaub and Kathleen of Phillipsburg, NJ; one nephew, Walter Allen Kaczetow of Belvidere, NJ; one step-niece, Mychayla, and two cousins, Kelly Knaub of Milford, NJ and Henry Eggert of Pocono, PA.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Quakertown United Methodist Church, Quakertown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 AM in the Church. Interment will be held privately.
