Barbara Lauterbach, age 79 years, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, FL.
Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of David and Betty Okin Horwitz. Barbara was co-founder of Flemington Supply Co., running the accounting department from 1969 until her retirement in 1996.
She spent the bulk of her retirement volunteering for Peace Hospice and Palliative Care making Sunshine Calls, painting and showing phenomenal water color artwork, and traveling the world. She watched the Super Bowl as long as the Giants were playing in it and loved spending time with friends and family the most.
Barbara is survived by her adoring husband, Stuart; a daughter, Dava Berezin and her husband, Larry; a son, Craig Lauterbach and his wife, Roslyn; grandchildren, David Holop and his wife, Julie, Julie Klein and her husband, Drew, Robbie Holop, Jordan Berezin and great granddaughter, Natalie Klein.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 11:00 AM in the Flemington Jewish Community Center, 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington, NJ followed by burial in Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
