Barbara M. Garrett

Barbara M. Garrett, age 71 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at her residence.

Born in Lambertville, NJ, September 10, 1938, daughter of the late John A. and Julia Johnson Schutts, she had resided in Hunterdon County, NJ all her life.

A 1956 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, she was formerly an Executive Secretary to the President of Hunterdon County National Bank (now Wachovia Bank) and later was employed in Wachovia Bank's CD and IRA Department in New Brunswick, NJ, retiring in 2003.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Flemington Elks Lodge, Flemington, NJ and was a member and Past President of the Hunterdon County Soroptimist Club.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-three years, Frank J. Garrett; a daughter, Cathy B. Titus of Falcon, CO; two brothers, Bradford Schutts of Palm Springs, CA and Donald Schutts of Philadelphia, PA; one grandchild; one great grandchild; and three nephews.
