Barbara M. Schmidt

Barbara M. Schmidt, age 80 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Somerville, NJ, July 30 1935, daughter of the late George and Mary Esock Fillen, she had resided in Delaware Township over forty years. She was formerly a bookkeeper for several auto dealerships. Barbara was an avid reader, loved vegetable gardening and solving crossword puzzles. Surviving are her husband of fifty-five years, Gottfried Schmidt, and several cousins. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 13, 2015, at 2:00PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
