Beatrice L. Simon

Beatrice L. Simon, age 91 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, in Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Milford, NJ, October 28, 1920, daughter of the late Howard and Mary McCollick Schaible, she had resided in Flemington seventy years.

She formerly was employed at the Lace Mill in Lambertville, NJ and then worked at Bemis Bag Co., Flemington, NJ, for thirty-three years, first as a sewing machine operator and later as a custodian when the plant switched over to heavy equipment for it's plastics operation. She retired in 1994.

Her husband, Lewis L. Simon, died in 1982, and she was also pre-deceased by four brothers, Jasper J., Howard G., Harry and Earl P. Schaible and a sister, Marie Esposito.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Simon and Geroge G. Stymiest of Raritan Township, NJ; a granddaughter, Christie Elle Stymiest of Raritan Township, and a sister, Ruth D. Schaible of Milford, NJ.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ followed by burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 10:00-11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Lights of Love at Hunterdon Medical Center Foundation, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
