Beatrice Marie Stietz

Beatrice M. Stietz, age 91 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at her home.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, April 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William and Irene O'Neill Thornley. She had formerly resided in Fair lawn, NJ.

She was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, and a member of the Newcomers Club, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, George Robert Stietz, died in 2011. She was also pre-deceased by a daughter, Ellen Stietz. Surviving are three daughters, Carol Stietz Haussmann and her husband John of San Ramon, CA, Gail Stietz of Three Bridges, NJ, and Pamela Stietz Goldenberg and her husband Jim of Doylestown, NJ; a son, George W. Stietz of Flemington, NJ; and five grandchildren: Michele Haussmann, Christopher Haussmann, Sara Goldenberg, Emily Goldenberg, and Rachel Goldenberg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
