Beau David Mcgrath

Beau David McGrath, age 29 years, of Kirkwood, Ca, died on Saturday, May 9, 2009 as the result of an airplane accident in Gardnerville, NV.

Born in Somerville, NJ, May 10, 1979, son of Garrett and Dorothy Polhemus McGrath of Whitehouse Station, NJ, he had resided in Kirkwood for the past two years, having formerly lived in New York City, NY.

A graduate of the Readington Township School System, Beau went on to graduate from Hunterdon Central Regional High School in 1997. He then attended Southern Connecticut State University where he graduated in 2003 with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing.

He was formerly involved with Readington Recreation and Readington Baseball for many years. Beau had a passion for snowboarding, the outdoors and he lived each day to the fullest.

He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandmother, Olga Polhemus and his paternal grandparents, Josephine and Lawrence McGrath.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister and brother-in-law, Danielle and Robert Gascoyne of Clinton Township, NJ; a niece, Ella Gascoyne; and his maternal grandfather, Harold Polhemus of North Branch, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
