Bernard R. "Buddy" Slizewski

Bernard R. "Buddy" Slizewski, age 68 years, of Delaware Township, NJ died on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Manville, NJ, September 2, 1935 to the late Peter and Sarah Novinowski Slizewski, he had resided in Delware Township for the past fifty years, having previously resided in Manville, NJ and Whitehouse, NJ.

He was formerly employed by Bemis Bag Company, Flemington, NJ and then by Tenneco Corp., Flemington, NJ. Mr. Slizewski was also a self-employed cabinetmaker and contractor.

He is survived by his companion, Joan Kaesler of Flemington, NJ; his former wife, Shirley Slizewski of Delaware Township, NJ; his two daughters, Cindy Budyi of Nazareth, PA and Joy Patterson of Ft. Bragg, NC; four grandchildren; four sisters, Sally Kondracki of Hollywood, FL, Carol Smith of Delaware Twp., NJ, Florence Houghton of Oxford, FL, and Stella Riegel of Delaware Township, NJ; and one brother, Henry Slizewski of Lenore, NC.
