Bernice R. Cronce, age 84 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, January 21, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Ringoes, NJ, November 26, 1923, daughter of the late Philip and Harriet Higgins Philhouwer, she had resided in the Ringoes area all her life.
She was formerly the Cafetria Manager at East Amwell School, Ringoes, NJ, then at Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ. She also baked for several area restaurants, including the Ringoes Steak House, Ringoes, NJ, the Union Hotel, Flemington, NJ, the Lambertville House, Lanmbertville, NJ and the Blue Ox Restaurant, Flemington, NJ.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-eight years, Frederick Cronce; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick N. and Joann Cronce and P. Craig and Melitta Cronce, all of Ringoes, NJ; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
