Bernice M. Carpenter

Bernice M. Carpenter, age 83 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, September 23, 2007, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born February 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Rowe and Anna Eschenower Jones, and had previously resided in Millington, NJ.

A Homemaker, she formerly worked at C.R. Bard Company, Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Her husband, Fred A. Carpenter, died in 2000. Surviving are a daughter, Joan Carpenter Muniz, of Raritan Township, NJ; a son, Jim Carpenter, of Morris Plains, NJ; a sister, Janie Fredlund, of Harrisburg, PA.; three grandchildren; Natalie Reif, Laura Carpenter, and Cristina Carpenter, and one great grandchild, C. J. Reif.

Funeral arrangements and interment in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ, will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
