Bertha Polhemus, 97, of Ringoes died Tuesday, June 4, in her home.
She was a homemaker.
Born April 16, 1905, in Ringoes, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Irene Fisher Hoagland. She resided in Ringoes all her life.
She was a member of Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church in
Ringoes.
She was an honorary life member of Presbyterian Women of the United States.
Her husband, Edgar, died in 1991.
She is survived by two sons, Marlan of Santa Fe, N.M., and John of
Mandeville, La.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son, Burdette, died in 1967.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, in
Union Cemetery in Ringoes. There will be no calling hours.
The Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, is in
charge of arrangements.
