Bertha Smith

Bertha Smith, age 97 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at her residence.

Born in Delaware Township, NJ, April 17, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Isaac C. and Cora Suydam Smith. She was a lifelong resident of Delaware Township, NJ.

She was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Smith, in 1978, a daughter, two brothers, and a sister. She is survived by two sons, Harvey R. Smith, of Osterburg, PA, and Kenneth D. Smith, of Ringoes, NJ; two brothers, Henry Smith and Leroy Smith, both of Delaware Township, NJ; a sister, Ruth Smith, of Delaware Township, NJ, four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 11 AM in the Sergeantsville United Methodist Church, Rosemont-Ringoes Road, Sergeantsville, NJ. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
