Berthilla “Berti” R. Otten, age 94 years, of Bridgewater, NJ, died Sunday, June 11, 2023, in the Avalon Care Center, Bridgewater, NJ.

Born in Rannungen, Germany, December 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Rose Ehadart Memmel.

Berti worked as a personal chef for many years.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Kurt Otten in 2017.

Surviving are one sister, Gertrude Ehadart of Germany and one nephew Richard Schindelman of Germany.

Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
