Bessie Beil

Bessie Beil, age 82 years, of High Bridge, NJ, died Saturday, October 19, 2019, in Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

A lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, Bessie was born October 3, 1937, in Raritan Township, NJ, and was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen Rake Smith. She had resided in High Bridge, NJ since 1970.

A homemaker, Bessie was a member of the Abundant Life Community Church of Port Murray, NJ.

Her husband, William Beil, died in 2015. Surviving are three sisters, Edith Thatcher of High Bridge, NJ, Elizabeth Smith of Flemington, NJ, and Hazel Novak of Trenton, NJ. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Cremation services and interment in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
