Betty Baines Saum

Betty Baines Saum, age 58 years, of Frenchtown, NJ passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at her home.

Born in Pensacola, FL, March 28, 1965, she was the daughter of Robert W. and Camille (Fraser) Saum.

Betty owned and operated the HAWK + FLORET shop in Frenchtown, NJ.

She will be remembered as a creative florista and florager, painter, artist, nurturer, wonderer, friend, daughter, sister, and mother. An absolute joy to be around.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two children, Clover and Jasper Stieve, both of Brooklyn, NY; as well as her beloved dog, Otis.

A Celebration of Life memorial took place on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Sunbeam Park, Frenchtown, NJ.
