Betty Higgins

Betty Higgins, age 73 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Chester, NJ, September 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Catherine Norgard. She had resided in Clinton Twp., NJ most of her life.

She was employed for many years by the Elizabethtown Gas Company, Flemington, NJ, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Stanton Grange, and attended the Allerton Methodist Church.

Her husband, Robert E. Higgins, died in 2000. She is survived by a son, Barry Higgins, of Frenchtown, NJ; a sister, Dorothy Ragazzo, of Somerville, NJ; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington,NJ. Interment will be in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
