Betty Sender

Betty Sender, age 83 years, of Pittstown, NJ ( Union Township), died on Monday, October 31, 2005, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in the Bronx, NY, February 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Dora Schwartz Jaffee.

She had formerly resided in Lakewood, NJ, and Glen Gardner, NJ.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Sidney Sender, died in 1994, and a daughter, Dale Bishkoff, died in 1996. She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Harding, of Califon, NJ; a sister, Lucille Dreschler, of Englishtown, NJ; two brothers; Edward Jaffee of Little Neck, NY, and Herman Jaffee of Forest Hills, NY; three granddaughters; Victoria Hance, Amy Emerman, and Rachel Selig; and three great-grandsons; Daniel Emerman, Samuel Emerman, and Douglas Selig.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in Beth Israel Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
