Beverly E. Levitt, 64, Worked With
Special Ed Students in Westfield
Beverly E. Levitt, 64, of
Readington Township died on Sunday,
February 24, in the Hunterdon
Medical Center in Raritan Township.
Born in Watchung on March 22,
1937, the daughter of the late Alfred
and Florence Eager Bennett, she
had lived in Westfield before moving
to Readington Township four
years ago.
Mrs. Levitt was Recreation Coordinator
for Avalon Assisted Living
in Bridgewater. Earlier, she had been
a teacher’s aide and bus driver for
special education students in the
Westfield Public School system for
15 years.
Surviving are two sons, Mark
Levitt of Raritan Township and Scott
Levitt of Forks Township, Pa.; three
sisters, Gertrude Napoli of Bushkill
Falls, Pa., Florence Knowles of
Wyalusing, Pa., and Mary Ann
Hilliker of Alpha; a brother, Alfred
Bennett, Jr. of Pennsylvania, and
four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on
Tuesday, February 26, in the Clover
Hill Reformed Church in Clover
Hill. Interment was at Clover Hill
Cemetery in Clover Hill.
Arrangements were under the direction
of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral
Home in Flemington.
