Beverly W. Arico, age 87 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, February 18, 2011 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Dardens, NC, December 18, 1923, daughter of the late Samuel and Edna Ray Coburn, she had resided in Raritan Township since 2000, having formerly lived many years in Graham, NC.
A Medical Secretary, Mrs. Arico was retired from Duke University where she had worked for the department of Neurosurgery.
A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flemington, NJ, she was formerly a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in Graham, NC. Additionally, she had been a member of the Flemington Womans Club, the Hunterdon County Knitting Guild and the Happy Ager’s of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Her husband, John Salvatore Arico, died in 1997.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Albert ‘Bert’ Stephen and Nadine Arico of Gibsonville, NC; a son, Andrew John Arico of Burlington, NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Mack Morrison of Raritan Township, NJ; and five grandchildren, Emily Caldwell Morrison, Robert Alexander Morrison, Scott Michael Arico, Lance Corporal Brian John Arico and Stephen Walter Arico.
Funeral Services will take place Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
