Bonnie Jean Mccrea

Bonnie Jean McCrea, age 84 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in her home. Born in Salt Lake City, UT, March 20, 1933, she had resided in Delaware Township since 1959. Bonnie was a graduate of Alfred College, and became a corporate secretary working for several attorneys and eventually Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. Mrs. McCrea was formerly the Clerk of Delaware Township, NJ. Bonnie enjoyed sailing to the Caribbean, and was a member of the Hunterdon Sailing Club. She was also a member of the Sergeantsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband, James E. McCrea, died in 2008. Surviving are a son, James S. McCrea, and his fiancé Maryann Romero, of Delaware Township, NJ; seven nieces and one nephew. Funeral services and interment in Rosemont Cemetery will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
