Byron E. Provines

Byron E. Provines, age 77 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, formerly of Hudson, MA, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Springfield, IL, August 24, 1935, he was the son of the late Byron and Idell Provines.

He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are three sons, Chris Provines of Pittstown, NJ, Steve Provines of Palm City, FL, and Scott Provines of Tinton Falls, NJ; a daughter, Heidi Carius, of Pequannock, NJ; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
