Carmela Lanzano

Raritan Township, NJ - Carmela Lanzano, age 86 years, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township NJ.

Born January 9, 1932, in the Bronx NY, Carmela was the daughter of the late Mario and Margaret (DePaolo) Ruggieri. She lived most of her life in New York until moving to Flemington NJ seventeen years ago.

She worked as an Administrator for the Bronx Municipal Hospital System for many years.

A prayer service for Carmela, officiated by Deacon John Monahan, will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Visitation will be from Sunday from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow privately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY, where she will be buried with her parents and brother, Lorenzo Ruggieri.

Carmela is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ursula and John Accumanno of Frenchtown NJ.
