Carmen J. Gerrone

Carmen J. Gerrone, age 70 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Friday, February 18, 2005 at his residence.

Born in Treskow, PA, July 23, 1934, son of the late Carmen M. and Mary DeBelles Gerrone, he had resided in Delaware Township for the past twenty-five years, having previously resided in Bridgewater, NJ and South Plainfield, NJ.

Mr. Gerrone received his B.S. in Engineering from Newark College of Engineering. He retired in 1991 as Director of Research for Ethicon, Inc., Bridgewater, NJ after working there for over thirty-five years.

He was a member of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ and also a member of the Oak Hill Golf Club, Milford, NJ.

Surviving are his wife of forty-nine years, Joyce S. Kiddish Gerrone; a son and daughter-in-law, Carmen J. Gerrone III and Sharon Gerrone; a daughter, Cheryl Guillemin of West Virginia; three grandchildren, Brandon Guillemin and Cheri Guillemin of Mansfield Township, NJ and Staci Guillemin of West Virginia; a sister, Gertrude Bogansky of Sommerville, NJ; and a brother, Donald Gerrone of Andover, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
