Carol J. Clerico

Carol J. Clerico, age 71 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at her home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, September 19, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jennie Ogrinz Chalupa and spent her early years living in Kingwood and Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.

Carol had an extensive career working for various Civil Engineering Firms in Hunterdon County in addition to the Raritan Twp. Engineering Department. She ended her career working as a consumer scientist with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, Skillman, NJ, for over fifteen years before retiring.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges, NJ. She loved flower gardens, her home at the beach and the time spent with her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of twenty-seven years, Robert J. Clerico; her sons, Ken (Vicki) Wene of Flemington, NJ, and Scott (Nanci) Wene of Pittstown, NJ; her grandchildren: Kyle Wene, Cheyenne Wene, Trevor Wene, Chloe Eannucci and Nick Eisenhart; her great grandchildren: Chase Wene and Bentley Wene; and two brothers, Dr. William Chalupa of Malvern, PA and James Chalupa of Ringoes, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 6:30 PM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ. Inurnment will be in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Annandale, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 2-4 And 6-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
