Carol Woodruff

Carol Woodruff, age 87 years, of Havertown, PA., died Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Vitas Hospice, Haverford, PA.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, September 21, 1926, daughter of the late Joseph and Joy Elizabeth Sherman Pankuch, she had formerly resided in Raritan Township, NJ, for many years and had resided in Havertown for ten years.

A homemaker, she was a volunteer at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, for many years and was also a Sunday School teacher for several years at the Flemington Presbyterian Church.

Her husband, Frederick Woodruff, M.D., who was a former Director of Radiology at Hunterdon Medical Center, died in 2001.

Surviving are a daughter, Gail Baldino of Havertown, PA.; a son, Frederick Woodruff of Bound Brook, NJ; two grandchildren, Michael Baldino and Stephen Baldino; and two great grandchildren, Francesca Baldino and Benjamin Baldino.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 2014, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday 9:30-11:00 AM.
