Carole J. Trap

Carole J Trap, age 84 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Muskegon, MI, June 7,1933, daughter of the late Paul and Wilhelmina Nielsen Scouten, she had formerly resided in Michigan, Washington and California. A licensed practical nurse, Carole was an avid member of the Red Hat Society, and Women's Empowerment. She is predeceased by one sister, Nancy Rubinsky and one brother, Richard Scouten. Surviving are her two daughters, Nanette Corn and her husband, Len of Fernandina Beach, FL and Lori Bailey and her husband, Mark of Novato, CA, and four grandchildren, Hannah Corn, Samuel Corn, Allison Bailey and Sarah Bailey. Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A private sea scattering service will be held in both Florida and California at a later date and time. Memorial contributions in Carole's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
