Carole Joan Carlson, age 74 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at her home.
Born in Queens, NY, March 15, 1939, daughter of the late Frank and Elsie Carlson Rosenstrom, she had lived in Clinton Township for the past eleven years. Prior to that, she had resided in Howell, NJ and Bethpage, NY.
A Homemaker who was devoted to her family, she also worked as a Security Guard and Greeter for Walmart, Clinton, NJ. She was a former member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Howell, NJ for many years and was currently a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flemington, NJ.
In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Frank Rosentrom, Jr., who was killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
A loving mother, grandmother and friend, Carole is survived by two daughters, Christine Vigna of Whiting, NJ and Marisa Jaffe of Clinton Township, NJ; and three grandchildren, Pauline Jaffe and Matthew and Lyndsey Vigna.
A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
