Carole Stieglitz

Carole Stieglitz, age 71 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, August 17, 2014 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Rahway, NJ, October 15, 1942 and growing up in Linden, NJ she was the daughter of the late Jake and Rose Shirling Tannenbaum. Carole had resided in Raritan Township for the past twenty-five years, having formerly lived for many years in Union, NJ.

A retired teacher with the Union, NJ school system, Carole was very involved with the Senior Center in Flemington, NJ and also was an avid painter.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-two years, Theodore Stieglitz; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Laurie Stieglitz and Richard and Suzette Stieglitz, all of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Sandy Tannenbaum of Sanibel Island, FL; and four grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Michele and Brianna.

Calling hours will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
