Carolyn Jean Mcallister

Carolyn Jean McAllister, age 53 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2010.

Born in Easton, PA, August 11, 1956, she was the daughter of Katy Wyant McAllister of Easton, PA and the late Robert Newport McAllister.

She was a graduate of Wilson High School and Rutgers University. She was a certified paralegal and worked in several Hunterdon County law firms over the past 25 years.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a daughter, Rachel Scarlet Strauss and a son, Jordan Douglas Strauss; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Pat McAllister of Troy, AL, Douglas and Bernadette McAllister of California, and James and Mindy McAllister of Easton, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Thomas Bryfogle of Nazareth, PA; an uncle Daniel Wyant and wife Virginia of Bloomsbury, NJ; three nieces and five nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 1-2 PM in the funeral home.
