Carolyn R. Curtis, 86, formerly of Flemington, died Thursday, July 19, in Little Brook Nursing Home in Lebanon Township.
She and her husband operated Curtis Sporting Goods Store in Flemington and then Curtis Antiques Store in Flemington until 1998 and before that she was employed by the Gibson Doll factory in Flemington.
Born Oct. 13, 1914, in Passaic, N.J., she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Sterl Eisele. She had resided in Flemington for 80 years and in the Little Brook Nursing Home since 1998.
Her husband, Charles H. Sr., died in 1999.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Neff of Readington Township; two sons, Charles H. Jr. of Mount Holly, N.J., and James F. of Stockton, N.J.; a brother, John of Ringoes; a sister, Helen of Lambertville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine St., Flemington. Call 7 to 9 tonight in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington.
Burial will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington.
