Casey Thomas Holcombe

Casey Thomas Holcombe, age 28 years, of Flemington, NJ, died peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.

Born in Summit, NJ, October 11, 1982, son of Ernest Thomas "Tom" Holcombe, Jr. and Marianne Donlon Holcombe of Flemington, he was a lifelong area resident.

A 2001 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Casey went on to receive his B.A. from Rutgers University and his M.S. in Exercise and Sports Medicine from Austin Peay University, Clarksville, TN.

A member of Gateway Church, Bridgewater, NJ, Casey worked with the mission program of the Church and was also involved with Revelation Generation, an annual Christian Music festival in Frenchtown, NJ.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his sister, Samantha Holcombe of Washington, D.C.; his grandfather, Michael E. Donlon of Basking Ridge, NJ; his grandmother, Dorothy Holcombe of Doylestown, PA; several aunts and uncles, Denise Rossman of Califon, NJ, Adrienne and Michael Nodes of Middlesex, NJ, Michael and Janine Donlon of Great Falls, VA, Mark and Darlene Donlon of Monmouth Junction, NJ, Paul Donlon of NYC, NY, Jacqueline Donlon of Arberdeen, MD, David and Kerry Donlon of Allamucchy, NJ, Francine and Tom Smith of Bayport, NY, Jamie and Jessica Holcombe of Charleston, SC, Jennifer and Brian Thistle of Horsham, PA, Jake and Chris Holcombe of Doylestown, PA and Howard Holcombe of MO; several cousins; and many friends.

Funeral Services will take place Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
