Catherine B. Torok

Catherine B. Torok, age 92 years, of Flemington Borough, NJ passed away on Wednesday evening, October 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in New York City, NY, May 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Elizabeth (Rentler) Bruckler. She had formerly resided in New York, Raven Rock, NJ, and Pennsylvania before living most of her life in Flemington, NJ.

The matriarch of the family, she enjoyed art and theatre, especially the works of William Shakespeare. She was also a skilled seamstress.

She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-four years, Geza Torok, who died in 2013; her son Paul Torok as well as her grandson, Kyle Torok, and her siblings, Virginia Montgomery, and Alfred Bruckler.

Surviving are her four children: Bruce Torok, Thomas Torok, Susan Torok Rood, and Joanne Torok-Castanza; eight grandchildren: Steven, Quay Geza, Meghan, Andrea, Amanda, Dezaray, James Vincent, and Emily Catherine; ten great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Linda Swackhamer.

Funeral arrangements and cremation will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
