Catherine C. Grabowski

Catherine C. Grabowski, age 87 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, December 17, 1920, daughter of the late Michael Charles Weiss and Marie Stellman Weiss, she had resided in Raritan Township, NJ for the past five years, having previously lived in Beverly Hills, FL and Ozone Park, NY.

She was formerly a Claims Processor at Met Life in NYC, NY for many years and had also worked as an Inspector for Sperry's Gyroscope, Great Neck, NY.

Her husband, John Anthony Grabowski, died in 1998.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Loretta Marie and Edward Fink of Raritan Township, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth J. and Janice Grabowski of East Meadow, NY; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
