Catherine M. Brannigan

Catherine M. Brannigan (nee Brannagan) born April 4, 1933 to F. Walter Brannagan and Sarah Madeline Brannigan (nee VanVoorhis) passed away peacefully June 30, 2020 after a lifetime of sharing kindness and courage.

Aptly described as a people-person, Catherine combined her tenacity and strong-will with the virtues of kindness and compassion. All who knew Catherine say that she modeled strength, taught everyone around her humility, and brought happiness and affection to those who crossed paths with her. She fought hard throughout her life and in doing so Catherine set such an example of how to persevere. Through it all though Catherine shared a bright spirit and a smile that lit up every room. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Catherine was predeceased by her sister Madeline Brannagan and her brother F. Walter Brannagan. She is survived by nieces and nephews and by all whose lives she touched with her gentle presence and beautiful spirit.

Services for dear Catherine will be held Friday, July 3, 2020 at 10 AM in Sand Brook Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
