Cathryn T. Brunt

Cathryn T. Brunt, age 89 years, of Franklin Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, February 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Farr) Tinnes. She had lived in Hunterdon County, NJ her entire life.

She was formerly employed as a secretary for The Herdman Agency, Bohren and Bohren Associates Inc., and finally the Flemington National Bank & Trust Company, all of Flemington, NJ.

Cathryn was a long-time, active member of the Cherryville Baptist Church, Cherryville, NJ and loved attending and helping with the many church activities over the years. In addition, she was an avid reader and enjoyed playing computer solitaire and mahjong.

She will be remembered as a good wife and loving mother, who would help anybody at any time.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, the late Kenneth J. Brunt, Sr., who died in 1994.

Surviving are her son, Jeffrey B. Brunt of Frenchtown, NJ; grandsons, Justin Brunt of Bloomsburg, PA and Jason Brunt of Quakertown, NJ; her sister, Pauline Caldwell of Bridgewater, NJ; her niece, Paula Gyuro of Cincinnati, OH; as well as several extended family members.

Funeral services will take place, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Cherryville Baptist Church, 594A Cherryville Road, Flemington, NJ 08822. Burial, next to her late husband, will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. There are no calling hours.
