Cecelia G. Higgins

Cecelia G. Higgins, age 81 years, of Raritan Borough, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, in the Raritan Health & Extended Care Center, Raritan, NJ.

Born in Three Bridges, NJ, December 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Cecelia Kugelman. She had formerly resided in Whitehouse, NJ.

She was formerly employed by Standard Pressed Steel, Flemington, NJ, then by Ethicon, Inc., Bridgewater, NJ, and then by American Hoescht Corp., Somerville, NJ.

Her husband, Chester Higgins, died in 1995. Surviving are a son, Chester Higgins, of Branchburg, NJ; a daughter, Eleanor Sisco of Brandon, VT; two sisters, Lorraine Thompson of Plainfield, NJ, and Hazel Smith of Idabel, AZ; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
