Celia Rouse

Celia Rouse, age 92 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ, died on Monday, November 3, 2008 in Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough Township, NJ.

Born in Ashflat, AR, August 10, 1916, daughter of the late Otis and Nora Snodgrass Dawson, she was formerly a Cashier for twenty years at Shop-Rite in Dunellen, NJ.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen and Jim Williams of Hillsborough, NJ and Nora and Jerry Poole of Applegate, CA; ten grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; twenty step-great grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren; and one step-great, great grandchild.

He former husband, William Rouse, died in 1988 and a son, James Rouse, died in 2002.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There are no calling hours.
