Charles J. W. Boehm 3Rd

Charles J. W. Boehm 3rd, age 71 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died on July 14, 2005, while vacationing in Italy.

Born in Morristown, NJ, June 8, 1934, he was the son of the late Charles J. W. and Jessie Alexander Boehm 2nd.

He retired in 1988 as Manager of the Medical Care Cost Recovery Unit of the Veterans Administration Hospital, Lyons, NJ. He then went on to become Coordinator for the Alexandria Township Building Department, retiring in July, 2005.

Mr. Boehm was a veteran of the United States Navy, and later retired from the United States Air Force in 1974 as a Major. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the Air Force in Thailand.

He was a graduate of Rider College, Lawrenceville, NJ.

Surviving are his wife, Marlene Tamulewicz Boehm; a brother, Roland Boehm of Raritan Township, NJ; a sister, Joyce Maglione of Ithaca, NY; and a grandson, Charles Boehm 5th of Apopka, FL.

Funeral services and calling hours will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
