Charlotte Bongiovanni

Charlotte Bongiovanni, age 75 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, April 8, 2016 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, April 25, 1940, daughter of the late Michael and Carmella Villagio Monetti, she had resided in Raritan Township, NJ for the past forty-seven years.

Charlotte worked as a seamstress for National Parachute, Flemington, NJ.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Salvatore Bongiovanni in 2012 and a sister Michele Pucciarello in 2001.

Surviving are four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Sandy Bongiovanni of Raritan Township, NJ, Michael and Sue Bongiovanni of Raritan Township, NJ, Salvatore Bongiovanni of Raritan Township, NJ and Anthony and Sue Bongiovanni of Kunkletown, PA; two brothers, Matthew Monetti and his wife Dottie of Georgia and Michael Monetti and his wife Fran of Monroe, NJ; one sister, Angela and her husband Michael Juganne of Florida; one sister-in-law, Rosalie Castellano; and seven grandchildren, John, Michael, Gina, Julia, Samantha, Megan, and Amanda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum located on Church grounds. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in Charlotte’s name may be made to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ.
