Cheryl L. Rizzo

Cheryl L. Rizzo, age 69, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home in Alexandria Township, NJ, surrounded by her family. Born November 15, 1945, in Irvington, NJ, Cheryl was the daughter of the late Theodore and Eleanor (Wenzel) Collins. She worked for nearly 25 years as a secretary for the Bridgewater-Raritan School System, retiring in 2008. Cheryl loved reading, knitting and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Cheryl was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Collins, and her husband, Stephen Rizzo, who died in 2009. She is survived by her son, Thomas Rizzo of Alexandria Township, NJ, her daughter and son-in-law, Kymberly and Gregory Ryback of Hampton, NJ, her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Jessica Rizzo of Raritan Borough, NJ, and her four grandchildren, Gregory, Savannah, McKayla, and Stephen, as well as her brother, Richard Collins, and her sister-in-law, Harriet Collins. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 17 Greenwich Church Rd, Stewartsville, NJ 08886. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
