Chester A. Williams, Jr.

Chester Arthur Williams, Jr. Emmaus, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was 91 years of age.

Mr. Williams was the son of the late Chester A. and Elizabeth Meyers Williams of Yonkers, New York. Mr. Williams’s wife of 63 years, Charlotte, passed away in 2002. His parents and other generational relatives passed away years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Susan W. Frank, Irvine, Alberta and Joan W. Wilson, Emmaus, Pennsylvania. Family members were with him at the time of his death.

Four grandchildren, Melissa Frank Weiss, Elkwater, Alberta, Heidi Frank Pudwell, Irvine, Alberta, Jennifer Wilson Shaver, Macungie, Pennsylvania and Douglas A. Wilson, Houston, Texas also survive him. Mr. Williams has seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Williams recently resided at Pine Run Community, Doylestown, Pennsylvania and before that lived for many years in Stockton, New Jersey.

Mr. Williams was a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and St. John’s Law School. During his career he practiced law and was vice president, secretary and general counsel of the Singer Company, New York.

Mr. Williams will be interred by the family on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, New Jersey. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe - Fisher Funeral Home, 147 main Street, Flemington, New Jersey.
