Chester Wozniak, age 65 years, of Tunkhannock Township, PA, died on Saturday, April 4, 2009 in the Mid Valley Hospital Hospice Unit, Peckville, PA.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, October 23, 1943, he was the son of the late Zygmunt and Helen Szczepanowski Wozniak and had resided in Tunkhannock Township for the past seven years, having formerly resided in Flagtown, NJ and Neshanic, NJ.
A United States Navy veteran of the Cuban Missle Crisis, Mr. Wozniak was retired from 3M, Belle Meade, NJ, where he had worked as a Driller for over thirty-three years. He was a member of the Clover Hill Reformed Church, Clover Hill, NJ.
His son, Steven John Wozniak, died in 1973.
Surviving are his wife of forty-six years, Patricia Guire Wozniak; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jeffrey Sanders of Hickory, NC; a sister, Susan Soltis of Flagtown, NJ; a brother, Steven Wozniak of Neshanic, NJ; and two grandchildren, Farran and Brian Sanders.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Clover Hill Reformed Church, Clover Hill, NJ followed by interment in Clover Hill Cemetery.
