Christine A. McConnachie, age 52 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in Somerville, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth Houseknecht Adamson, of Moorestown, NJ, she had resided in the Flemington and Clinton areas since 1993.
Christine was a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and received her PhD. In Chemistry from Northwestern University. She was formerly employed by Exxon-Mobil, Clinton Township, NJ, and later became a volunteer for Crossroads Christian Academy and also for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren Counties). She was an active member of the South Ridge Community Church, Clinton, NJ.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband of twenty-seven years, Jonathan McConnachie; her two children, Conall and Rheanna McConnachie, both at home; two brothers, David Adamson of Voorhees, NJ and Bruce Adamson of Dallas, TX.; and two sisters, Kathleen Adamson of Loganville, GA. And Diane Gallagher of West Chester, PA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 6, 2018, at 11:00AM in South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton, NJ. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Clinton, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday, August 6, 2018, 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
