Christine Laura Matthews

Christine Laura Matthews, age 46 years old, of Holland Township passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, March 12, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 25, 1974 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. She is the daughter of Sandra and the late Anthony Danzo. Christine graduated in 1993 from The Pennington School and in 1999 from Rowan University in Glassboro with a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies. She also attended Centenary College in Parsippany. Before her illness, Christine was a Deputy Court Administrator at the Raritan Township Municipal Building. In addition to her mother, Sandra MacDonald Danzo, Christine is survived by her loving husband, Brian William Matthews, and their sons, Brian Anthony, and Anthony William, plus her brother, Joseph Danzo, and her in-laws, Anne and Norman Matthews. Christine was an intelligent, compassionate, creative, and caring person. Known for her kindness towards people and animals, plus her sense of humor, she will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, N.J.
