Christos Diamantidis

Christos Diamantidis, age 83 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, August 21, 2009 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Russia, December 10, 1925, son of the late Efstathios and Helen Gatidou Diamantidis, he had resided in Raritan Township since 2008, having formerly lived in Greece as well as Bogota, NJ.

He was a retired sheet metal worker with Aeroil, Hackensack, NJ for many years.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-six years, Natalie Kovalenko Diamantidis; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elpis and Charles R. Ecklin, Helen and Bill Burns and Mary and David Brill; and five grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Private in the Greek Orthodox Parish of Hunterdon County, currently holding services in the Allerton United Methodist Church, 104 Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ with The Very Reverend Archimandrite George Nikas officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
