Clayton C. Benke

Clayton C. Benke, age 93 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at his residence.

A former resident of Dayton, OH, and St. Petersburg, FL, Mr. Benke was preceded in death by his wife, Opal and his two sons, Robert and Clayton.

Mr. Benke retired from General Motors in 1971 after forty-three years of service.

He is survived by his two daughters, Sharon David Shelley of East Amwell Township, NJ and Linda Schaefer; ten grandchildren, Debra Wooldridge, Clay Benke, Donald Benke, Jacalyn Benke, Christine Rivera, Lori Eilers, Kathleen Shelley, Bryan Shelley, Erika Blanke and Gretchen Schaefer; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held in Dayton, Ohio, Saturday, December 11, 2004. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
