Connie Ford, Jr.

Connie Ford, Jr., age 82 years, passed away on April 13, 2023, at the Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, NJ.

Born in North Carolina, April 5, 1941, he was the son of the late Ida (Evans) and Connie Ford, Sr. He had previously resided in Newark, NJ for most of his life.

Connie was a United States Army veteran, serving until he was honorably discharged. He was then employed by a metal working company for most of his career. Additionally, he liked to make and fix things; he was an excellent handyman.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, the late Felton Carr. He is survived by five children, Derrick Carr of New York City, NY, Anton Ford of Flemington, NJ, Bridgett Ford of Flemington, NJ, Devalle Ford of Montclair, NJ, and Markeith Ford of East Orange, NJ; as well as twelve grandchildren.
