Constance C. Schuster

Constance C. Schuster, age 88 years, of Lambertville, NJ, died Monday, April 2, 2012, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, February 21, 1924, daughter of the late Charles R. and Hope Gove Cargill, she had formerly resided in Morrisville, Pa., Princeton, NJ and Flemington, NJ, before moving to Lambertville in 2006.

A gemologist, she was a self-employed gem appraiser. She was also formerly Art Director for G. Fox Department Store, Hartford, Ct., and also for Macy's Department Stores. She and her husband operated an antique shop, Schuster's of Princeton, Inc., Princeton, NJ 1959-1980. She also lectured on antiques.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-two years, Harold Schuster; a daughter, Liz Schuster of Holicong, Pa.; a son, Alexander Schuster of Naples, Florida, and three grandchildren,Lauren Schuster, Nicole Schuster, and Raphael Rosati, and a great grandson, Nicholas Rosati. Another daughter, Stephanie Schuster, died in 2005.

Arrangements are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
